Dots and short dashes of glue
Less glue can even produce a stronger joint, because in cardboard boxes, for example, the top layer is pulled off again and again, the force is often greater with small dots than with one long strip of glue.
How do I hot melt dots?
The controller, glue heads and glue settings must be suitable for setting dots and short stripes. Many standard hot melt equipment already appears to be able to do this by default. Should your equipment not be able to handle this, it is possible to remove the impeding Nordson spare parts, Robatech or other brand of glue equipment to be replaced.
