EVA hot-melt adhesive

EVA hot-melt adhesives are the oldest and still the most widely used hot-melt types. They are widely used in the packaging industry. EVA hot melt adhesives are available in both white and yellow, but are often associated with yellow, scented, and burnt glue tanks.

Polyolefin hot-melt adhesives

Polyolefin adhesives are known in the market as a successor to EVA hot melts. Better thermostable, meaning they burn less quickly and generally adhere better to plastics.

PSA hot-melt adhesives

These are self-adhesive hot-melt adhesives that also stick, or adhere, after they have cooled down. They can be used, for example, to make self-adhesive products such as self-adhesive foam or a self-adhesive closure of an envelope or shipping box.

PUR hot-melt adhesives

PUR hot melt adhesives combine the "fast" property of a hot melt with a long-lasting chemical bond. This chemical bond makes the adhesive more resistant to external influences such as temperature and chemicals. Disadvantages of PUR hot melt may be the price, more expensive equipment and more complex handling in production.
