Herewith some project photos of a box erection machine. The aim here was to convert to a different tray format more easily and quickly. A new format also had to be added to this machine. This was not possible with the old glue heads because when the glue heads were put together, the glue trail came next to the tray. Hotmeltservice then came up with the solution of making customised glue heads. With good results, as the customer can now easily switch to a different format within minutes.
Here, a customised 2-fold glue head and Itw Dynatec micro modules were used. These are available in 7022, 7023, 7024, 7025 and 7026.
