Hot melt systems overhaul
To improve performance, it may eventually be necessary to extensively clean and/or overhaul entire systems. This is in addition to general cleaning and maintenance procedures. This involves dismantling and thoroughly cleaning components before reassembling them as complete systems. In addition, seals and sensors are replaced and any coatings - such as Teflon coatings - are reapplied. Cleaning is carried out by autoclaving and media blasting before the system is repainted. The rebuilt unit is shipped to the customer after a 16-hour operational test and the serial number can be easily traced.
Total reconditioning of a hot melt adhesive system is usually significantly cheaper than investing in a new hot melt adhesive system! You can also buy one of our used or reconditioned systems. We will be happy to advise you on the condition and best execution for your application.
(Re)building complete hot-melt systems
The installation and repair of hot melt adhesive equipment and accessories is a complex process, but Hotmeltservice's technical team is uniquely qualified for the job, with decades of experience in the field. Our team can help install new equipment or reinstall new equipment. We can also help train customer-side technicians in all equipment work to ensure smooth, safe and efficient processes.
Glue pump overhaul
Pumps are an essential part of most industrial processes and optimum performance is essential for smooth and safe operation. With 12 years of experience in pump rebuilding, our technicians are able to carry out fast, highly efficient pump rebuilds. In fact, there is a next-day delivery option on all our stock glue pumps and our team ensures that rebuilt units perform to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Remanufactured units must pass all relevant pressure inspections and tests before being returned to the customer. In addition, it is often possible to exchange your system.
